With every bottle if Wise Jun-Kombucha, we hope to foster a vibrant and thriving community, spreading a newfound love for health and vitality, one refreshing sip at a time.
This drink all started after a routine cleaning of beeswax to maintain the cleanliness of the hive. My mantra is to live a sustainable lifestyle which often leads me to use the leftover honey to sweeten my tea. One day, I forgot about my honey sweetened tea and it was left steeping at room temperature (as a mother of five I am always needed in multiple places at once and most things are often left on the backburner). After some time, a miracle started to brew in the cup. Little bubbles started to form and evolved into a complexity of sweet and tart flavors. It tasted surprising at first, but then the subtle flavors of honey combined with the refreshing flavors of fermentation and tea gave birth to a passion that has the potential to change how people appreciate kombucha's complexities. This new drink became a simple refreshment in my household. We experimented with different flavors to find our favorites. To my surprise, my husband converted from soda and beer to jun-kombucha, the refreshing flavor he just could not resist.
That was when the idea to start Wise Jun-kombucha began – a less sugary alternative for my community and a business that was born from a family passion.
Within 2 years, my bees became a staple in my neighborhood's gardening community. They helped revitalize the plant life and gave fruits a sweeter taste. If my bees were helping my neighborhood this much, I wanted to further help my community by contributing through a natural beverage way, the healthier way, the “Wise” way.
This founding of Wise Jun-kombucha stems from my main passion which is Mother Earth. Graduating with a major in natural sciences and having a career within the field, I have centered my life around nature. With this in mind, I wanted to structure my company on a sustainable eco-friendly model. By using glass containers for the packaging I hope to leave as little impact on the environment . Every time you are finished with one, you can come back and get another refill of your favorite flavor or try another one of our other delicious flavors. Every batch of kombucha is handmade so that every ingredient added has the care it deserves and the quality you deserve. The star ingredient, honey, is personally gathered from my bees, which I have started raising since 2019. Making sure that the bees are healthy and happy helps the quality of the honey, allowing the final product to be able to reach its full potential of refreshing deliciousness.
